We went to the library's story time again today.  Peter is so popular with toddlers..these two little girls couldn't keep their hands off of him!  They just kept touching his cheeking, holding his hands, and talking to him...  Needless to say, he was in Heaven!

Peter's new thing is pulling at the blinds next to his bed.  I have to take his crib away from the window during nap time or he keeps himself awake playing :)

ANOTHER GIRLFRIEND

Today I babysat Roz Hunter (baby of good friend, Kyle and his wife, Kaileigh) while Kaileigh attended the wedding of her sister. Roz is only 4 days older than Peter, so it was sooo fun to see them together.  They played and had fun for quite awhile, but then Roz started to cry.  This made Peter cry SOOO hard.  It was so sad to hear these two little babies crying so hard in unison.  I decided to take them on a walk to try to calm them down.  Peter in the Ergo and Roz in the stroller.  It worked great!  Felt weird to think that people might think they were twins or something :)

FEEDING HIMSELF

Today Peter fed himself for the first time, eating a cracker called a "Mum-Mum."  He ate 2 of them and loved it!

ANOTHER FRIEND

My best friend from living in Brooklyn is here for the summer!  Her husband is interning at AT&T in San Ramon for two months, so I will get to spend lots of time with her for the next bit :)  It seems like we saw each other just yesterday, even though it has been several years.  Peter was happy to meet her too, and she graciously held him so I could finish my taco today.  Thanks, Sam!

OLDER WOMAN

We often go for a walk in the morning with my friend, Sarah.  Sarah babysits a little girl named Eleanor during the week (she's around 1 year old).  It was so funny this morning because Peter was smiling at her and kicking and trying to get her attention, but she was having NONE of that.  Not interested...kinda grumpy.  Sorry Peter, but you will have to deal with women in "moods" for the rest of your life! :)

NEW FRIEND

Today Peter got to meet a new friend.  Julian is the baby of our friend, Etienne.  He is about 3 weeks younger than Peter, and the cutest little guy ever.  They had fun playing together (sitting next to each other) today while we caught up with Etienne in her home.

FATHER'S DAY

I am sad that I didn't get a nice photo of Peter and Erik together on Father's Day.  I did get these couple of Peter playing with his papa, though.  Peter LOVES his dad.  Every time Erik comes home, Peter kicks his feet and arms and screams and squeals with delight.  It's such a heart melting sight.

LIBRARY

I took Peter to his first library circle time today.  He is still young for most of the activities, but he had a great time.  He even got to play with a bright red silk scarf, just like the big kids!

We had a ward picnic today...it was lovely weather and Peter (of course) loved getting attention from so many friends...  He looks so girlie-cute in his new sun hat ;)

HIKE TO THE BEACH

Today we took a hike with Janelle to the beach.  Peter got pretty tired near the end, and insisted that I carried him instead of riding in his stroller, but...he definitely had some moments where he enjoyed himself too :)
