PETER

17 months

Peter is getting to be a big boy.  Everytime he wakes up from a nap he looks older and taller.  Less like a baby and more like a little boy.  Peter loves to run outside and explore, and we are looking forward to warmer months so we can do more of this.  His favorite thing to say right now is "Uh Oh."  He often creates 'uhoh' situations so that he can say it.  He is talking a lot....long full sentences of complete gibberish.  It is adorable.  I love his voice so much.  Another favorite thing is having his back and legs scratched.  It is the only way I can get him to be still long enough for a little cuddling.  Here are some pics from the last few weeks:

A big portion of the country had snow today, but we enjoyed some warm sunshine and flowers :)

PUPPET

Lately, Erik has been giving Peter little puppet shows with the chicken puppet we have.  Peter goes CRAZY.  He makes the chicken eat his hand over and over again and laughs hysterically.

HAT

16 months, 8 days

Peter thought he was very cool wearing the strainer as a hat.  He wore it on and off all day.

PETER UPDATE

16 months, 7 days

It has been awhile since I posted last.  I feel so guilty!  Peter is growing so much and this is such a wonderful age.  He is very adventurous and independent.  He loves animals and books and food.  He has been able to spend extra time with his dad the past month, which has been so wonderful.  Here are a couple nice pics from the past couple weeks.
