I LOVE THEM

They are such joys to me, despite the occasional frustrations ;)

Look at this smiling angel (he looks so much like Erik):

With George, all you have to do is glance in his general direction, and he will give to the HUGEST, most light-filled smile.

I took Peter to "Little Farm" this week.  He was a little scared of everything but the chickens and ducks at first, but he warmed up and ended up loving the cows and the enormous pigs:

Here we are at the park.  There was a man there that had this amazing remote control airplane.  Peter loooved it!:

Also, I took a short video at the park.  Peter made a friend.  I only caught the end of their game, but the kid would throw his water bottle and Peter would fetch it and bring it back.   I love hearing their laughter :)

CAMPING, ETC.

We took the boys on their first campout this week.  We ended up not spending the night for various reasons, but we made a fire, cooked dinner, roasted marshmallows (to Peter's delight), and made Jiffy Pop.  We set up the tent too, and watched Wallace and Gromit on Peter's little DVD player.  They had a nice time:

Also, a little video of George talking in the woods.

Another pic of George.  He is getting so pretty:

We went to the Farmer's Market on Saturday, and Peter ate a few nectarines in the grass:

And a video of Peter pretending to read one of Erik's books:

THE PAST WEEK

Here are a few pics from the past week with the boys.

George is now 4 months old.  We went to his well-baby appointment today and he was 25.5 inches long (0.5 inches longer than Peter at the same age), and 14 lbs, 9 oz (3 oz lighter than Peter was at the same age).  He got a good report, but cried really really hard when he got his shots.  Sooo sad :(

He has started holding toys:

Holding his head up high!

Peter will be starting preschool in less than a month; it will be good for him to be around other children.

Dominos are a new favorite hobby:

CATCH UP

Peter: 2 1/2

George: 3 months

It has been almost a year since updating this blog; and obviously we've since had Baby Georgie.  I'm going to try to start posting again!

Georgie loves to hang out in his big brother's crib:

Peter picks some of these "sweet flowers" almost every day:

Also, here is a link to Peter dancing at a "Bubble Party" in the library's basement.  At the end he remembers he wants some more oranges, and quickly runs to the table:
