COLORIN'

18 months, 4 days

I finally got Peter some washable crayons today.  He had fun playing and scribbling for awhile today...and yes, the washability got tested (luckily, it passed with flying colors ;)

18 MONTHS

18 MONTHS

Peter is officially 1 1/2!  He is starting to become more clear in his talking, can feed himself with a spoon, folds his arms and is very quiet during prayers, claps after we finish singing him a song, and is finally starting to become a little more cuddly.  Oh, he is so darling!

Here are a few photos from the past two weeks:

At a new park, getting pushed on a trike by his Dad.

Swinging!:

Enjoying some frozen yogurt (it was the first time we got him his OWN serving; he was very happy about it):

Exploring the kids section of a library in Berkeley:

Peter has never been too interested in stuffed animals, but has recently become attached to his "Ugly Doll".  Here they are playing in a box together:

Playing with magnets at a friend's birthday party:

A new favorite thing is to lie down and look at the ceiling in the church gym:

ON THE BOARDWALK

17 months, 16 days

Erik took Peter to the Berkeley Marina while I was working today.  He found a little indented seat along the railing and he spent a very long time sitting down and getting up and sitting down again.

LITTLE MONSTER

17 months, 15 days

Peter loves his "monster shirt."  We ask, "Where is your monster shirt, Peter?" and he looks down at his shirt and growls.

PARK

17 months, 12 days

We went to the park yesterday because Peter had been cooped up a couple days due to rain.  We went to a park I had forgotten about that is walking distance.  Peter really liked it because there was a lot of flat, open space to run and explore.  He insisted on carrying his bag of Goldfish along for the adventure.
