Peter had fun playing with his little friend Ainsley today. They are very close in age (she is one month older) and they seem to really like each other. Peter was showing off so much...it was hilarious.

BIRTHDAY BOY
I YEAR OLD
I am almost crying writing this post....we love Peter so much it is crazy. This firecracker of a boy is the love of our lives. We can't wait to see him grow and become more and more amazing. Happy 1st birthday Peter March!
Some scenes from his party....a special Peter Rabbit cake made by mom, wearing a party hat (for Grandpa Joel), eating pizza for the first time, and feeling pretty overwhelmed by so many generous gifts and attention from his wonderful family.

GRANDMA ARRIVES!

Today we picked Grandma Joyce up from the airport for Peter's Birthday Weekend! We had a great afternoon playing and having fun with Grandma. In the evening we went out for Indian food with Jordan and Danielle. Peter ate like a horse of course, and insisted on having his own huge piece of Nan bread. Oh, what a guy!

HALLOWEEN

Peter was a Caveman (Cavebaby) tonight at our ward's Halloween party. He looked very cute and had fun playing with his Caveman Club, eating food, and seeing everyone else in their costumes.
The Caveman was Plan B. I was going to make him a bear costume that followed an actual pattern, but it ended up being to difficult. Instead I made this costume in about 20 minutes and am happy for it to be what Peter wore for his 1st Halloween :) Well, 2nd Halloween technically, but he didn't dress up as a 5 day old last year.

VISITING THE BOSS

Went to the bookstore to see Aunt Kathleen today. She loves to spoil Peter with LOADS of new books every time we visit. He loves crawling around and looking at books and smiling at the customers. Maybe someday he'll work there :)

Peter has really been into his toy cars lately. He pushes them all over the house (sometimes two at a time, one in each hand), and plays with the wheels endlessly. It is so cute to watch!

WATCHING

We have some painters working on the outside of the house for the next 3 weeks or so. It has made nap time difficult with all of the power sanding, but he LOVES looking out at the workers. They are so friendly to him and always smile and wave. He loves it.

SO HOT

It was so hot today. Over 90 without AC is no joke. It was a diaper only kind of day for Peter March.
