Peter had fun coloring on a huge piece of cardboard today in the sunshine.

Peter is such a big boy.  We love him so.

DADDA HAT

Peter has always been fascinated by Erik's ball cap.  Today I bought Peter a "dadda hat".  He loooves wearing it and feels so cool.

CALVIN AND HOBBES

Introduced Peter to Calvin and Hobbes.  Seemed to get it instantly.

I locked myself out today, so we spent awhile hanging out in the front yard waiting for Erik to come with a key.  The light was nice and Peter looked so precious.

CATCH UP

Again, much time has gone by since posting.  Here are a few photos from the past couple weeks:

We've had a couple beach days in the past two weeks.  For one of them we went to a beach we love a little south of Pacifica.  We drove down there when Alycin was visiting last week.  Peter had fun burying a ball in the sand and uncovering it.  The first time Erik uncovered the ball, Peter said, very clearly, "There Ball!"  

We also got to spend a couple of days at the beach in Stinson over Memorial Day.  Peter really loved it because there we lots of other kids there.  He loved dancing to records with all of them in the beach house and sitting in the kid sized beach chair.

We had breakfast with some friends and then went to the park.  Peter especially liked sitting in this frontier-style covered wagon.

  

Yesterday Peter and I were in the backyard and he starting picking flowers for me and handing them to me one by one.  It was the best moment.
