FOOD

Peter doesn't seem to want to eat anything lately except for peanut butter. This is very frustrating since he has always been a very good eater. I took him out to eat for lunch, thinking he would chow down, but he turned up a finicky nose to just about everything. Hope it is a phase! :)

We went to a birthday party for our friend this evening. There were lots of other kids there, but all Peter wanted to do was play on the piano. Looks like a natural!

DOCTOR
Peter had his 15-month well-baby visit today. Nothing eventful. He is right on average for growth and is developing well, (as I knew already :) Unfortunately, though, he did have to have two immunization shots. It was awful to see him cry so much, but luckily the pain only lasted a bit. I think it really took it out of him though, because he came home and took a 3 hour nap!

BATHTIME

Taking a bath is what Peter loves best. Even more than eating bites of ice cream and putting lids on things. When we ask him if he wants a bath he immediately starts to scream and yell and BEELINE it to the bathroom, where he rips back the curtain and starts throwing in all of his toys. He loves baths.
He actually looks pretty freaked out in this photo, but it's still cute.

Sometimes, when Peter is really upset, the only thing that will reset him is to cuddle with his dad and watch a Baby Einstein video (will he EVER tire of those puppets?) It always turns a frown upside down...eventually :)

One of my favorite things about Peter is that he has very rosy cheeks. They are especially rosy when he wakes up from a nap and it is just too darling for words. Such a sweet, kissable, little pink piggy.

ANIMALS EATING LUNCH
14 months, 19 days
Peter enjoys playing with the Noah's Ark playset that Grandma and Grandpa got him for Christmas. It's funny, though, because his absolute favorite piece is....the bag of food....not the zebra or the elephant or the lion, but the toy burlap bag. So weird. Today I caught him playing with said bag and "feeding" the zebra! Maybe it was a coincidence, but it sure looked like he was purposefully doing it. I can't wait until he starts using his imagination to play with all of his toys. Imagining is the best part of childhood.

Tonight, after we got home from a long day mostly out of the house, Peter was happy to be back with his own toys in his own house. He had a great time rolling around on the couch and cracking himself up :)

BACK AGAIN!

The Christmas holiday really threw me off with my daily Peter posts and I have had a very hard time getting back into the swing of things because I really felt like I had to "catch up" and as more days passed the more intimidating that became. Sooo...I decide to just pick up today with TODAY. I am loving this little boy soo much lately. I think this is my favorite age so far. He is just so much FUN and I love playing with him every day. I look forward to all the adorable things he will do and all the new things he will learn each day. He is really starting to gain a lot of confidence with his walking too. So fun to see!
